our process

We provide a quote for each project within 48 hours of receiving the request. This quote outlines the services requested and the final cost, based upon the specifications supplied.

Once the quote has been accepted you can supply your manuscript to us. If the manuscript is ready for printing the files must be supplied in a PDF format which is ready for print.

If you require editing and proof reading or page layout then the files must be supplied as a Microsoft Word file in Arial typeface, 12 pt type size, double-spaced.

These files should be sent by email to info@dreamweaver.com.au or sent by mail on CD ROM to Dreamweaver Publishing, Level 10, 47 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.

From ideas, information, images and/or photographs supplied by you we will design two cover options for your consideration. We will make up to two sets of changes prior to approval.

After we have proof read and checked the contents, a proof of the complete document will be forwarded to you as a Microsoft Word document for your final check and approval to proceed to printing. At this point you will need to confirm print quantities.

An invoice for the total cost of production will also be sent to you. You are required to approve the final proof of the book and pay 50% of the invoice total before we proceed to print.

Normally print production will take approximately 10 working days for the books to be ready for despatch to you. Please note that we require full payment prior to despatching the books.

If you want us to sell your book through our online bookshop we will retain 10 copies initially and offer the book at the price you set. Any orders received by Dreamweaver Publishing will be fulfilled by us and we charge the buyer for the full cost of the book plus postage and handling. We charge 25% commission on the sale price of the book for this service and retain all postage and handling costs. We will remit the balance of the sales to you by cheque on a monthly basis.

Once we have run out of stock of your book you can supply us with more copies or request we print additional copies to meet demand.
